Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman is one of the gymnasts from the United States who won gold at the 2012 Olympics. This made her an the only American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. Gold medals she took home at the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold medal for the US team. This made her, and teammate Gabby the first Americans to be able to complete this achievement. Silver medals were awarded in the floor-based individual and all-around events. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Additionally, she was one of the gold medal winning American teams in the two World Championships. She began her gymnastics training when she was just two years old and is a fan of the floor workout. Aly has enrolled in her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandma. Aly plans on pursuing the profession of a fashion designer. She hopes to pursue growing her line of leotards. She is writing a book titled Fierce which will come out in the coming months.
